Lakshmi.

July 2014: Mrs.G.Rani Ward ‘III B.Sc ZNC students’
performed an extension programme on “Neutraceuticals-Let food be your
medicine”.
3. 31st
July 2014: Dr.N.Nagavardhanam ward of III BZC
students performed an extension programme on “Plants in Human Life”. Students acquired knowledge regarding various
products and plants used in our daily life.
4. 19th
September 2014: III BZC students performed a Knowledge
extension programme on “solid waste management” under the guidance of Botany
Faculty. Students explained the causes of solid waste generation and management
of solid waste through Panel discussion with the help of power point
presentation (PPT). Students touched the hearts of audience by explaining the
importance of solid waste management through cultural events like poetry, songs
and dance. Students also shared their experiences on solid waste management
during their visits to various areas in and around Eluru, when they are doing
their project work survey. As a part of this programme, to promote clean &
greenary in the college campus plantation programme also conducted. Nearly 40
DQAC members attended and appreciated the students. Dr Anjana Joseph from Lucknow,
a special guest was thrilled by witnessing the programme and congratulates the
students.

1. 24th August
2017: Knowledge Extension – Dr.N.Nagavardhanam
ward of III BZC students performed an extension programme on “Herbal
therapy”. Students acquired knowledge
regarding various plant products used in curing Pimples, dandruff, Hair loss.
They also depicted the medicinal uses of plants and plant products such as
Hibiscus, centalla, eclipta, tulsi, turmeric, Aerva lanata etc. Students
enjoyed the knowledge extension programme and was appreciated by the
audience.

November 2017: Knowledge
Extension - III BZC students performed a knowledge extension programme on “Save Nature” on 16th
November 2017 under the guidance of ward tutor Mrs.G.Rani and HOD of Botany
Dr.N.Nagavardhanam. Students explained the importance and protection of trees
through Mime. They touched the hearts of audience by their performance. Staff
and students appreciated the ward students.
